Get to Summer Grilling with @HillshireFarm American Craft Sausage Links

Sharing is caring!

Stop licking the screen. Seriously. These Hillshire Farm American Craft Sausage Links are so super tasty and so affordable, you can just purchase a package THIS WEEKEND at WalMart for some tasty summer grilling.

Honestly.  Just look at how juicy good these Hillshire American Craft Sausages are!  And we don’t even have a grill to be able to serve ’em up right.  I just threw them in the pan with some onions and peppers.  No, we have a grill, but we can’t use it.  Something about fire codes in apartments in this county.  Blah blah blah…  Whatevs!

These are the Garlic & Onion flavor of the HIllshire Farm’s American Craft Sausages.  I #GotItFree from BzzAgent.  If you’re not one, you should be.  It’s so cool to get to try new products like these deliciously tasty sausages!!

Since we’re I’m doing the low fat thing (No, it’s not a diet.) I opted for some tasty and fun looking broccoli!  Yes, that broccoli, that I can tell.  Gold, purple and… ROMANESCO!  How cool is the romanesco variety?  It’s mathematic food.  Honestly.  It’s fractally sound in the way the grows.   Heh.  I made up a word; fractally.  But honestly, it is a fractal in the way it grows.  It has this neat spiral shape that you can find in conch shells and many other natural items.  But enough about that.  Back to these tasty sausages!

Mmmm…  Just look at these American Craft Sausages mingling with the onions and peppers.  See the lovely sear on them?  It makes for tasty, pop-worthy skin on these delicious beauties.  This Garlic & Onion version of the Hillshire Farm’s American Craft sausages had the most delicious onion and garlic flavor!  I was surprised!  I’ve had sausages before that were “flavored” and I missed the memo that they WERE flavored.  They just tasted like…sausages.

But not these babies!  Yum!  They were SO tasty!  You can’t imagine.  Here they are on the shelf in WalMart with the rest of the smoked sausage links which are usually near the hot dogs.  But these ARE NOT hot dogs.  Just sayin…

My grocery currently had the Smoky Bourbon and the Garlic & Onion flavors.  I have the Smoky Bourbon in the fridge and can’t WAIT to try them!!  They just sound so delicious!  Being from Kentucky, I LOVE bourbon!  YUM!

See how healthy a sausage meal can be?  You don’t have to have fries, or chips, or some kind of mayonnaise laden salad.  We had deliciously fresh corn on the cob and FANTASTIC, locally grown, tri-color broccoli.  I’ve talked about my fave vendor at the open air market before.  And even today, I purchased a small bunch of baby carrots that were super colorful!

Heh. Yes, I tried to do that quintessential mustard squiggle. I’m not sure how good I did, but it doesn’t look TOO bad.  Definitely need to work on that one.  These sausage links from Hillshire Farm really didn’t need any mustard.  They were scrumptious all by themselves.  The sweet of the peppers and onions enhanced the flavor of the garlic and onion in the sausage.  I don’t’ think I can stress how delicious these truly are!

Make sure you follow Hillshire Farms on Facebook and Twitter to find out when their next flavors of this American Craft Sausage Link line is introduced.  I can’t wait to see what flavors are next in line!
