Just look at all the tasty items on their menu from their website. In the back there is sangria flatbread, then there’s the Atlantic Salmon with Bacon Jam, Malbec Marinated Steak and Shrimp and the Vintner’s Burger. There’s MANY other delicious and new items on their menu.
We arrived a little early, so we cozied up to the bar for a round of drinks before checking in for our reservation. They have some delicious drinks on their menu. Not only do they have a nice selection of wines and beers on top or bottled, they also have martinis and other cocktails, like this delicious Modern Mojito. It starts with muddling an orange in the bottom of the glass, then they add Pyrat amber rum, mint simple syrup and a splash of Grand Marnier. Voila. I love this different take on a traditional Hemongway favorite. I had two. They were fabulous!
No only do they have delicious food and drinks, they also affiliated with Ocean Trust. Ocean Trust is an ocean conservation foundation that builds partnerships to help the environment. So, not only tasty, but earth conscious. Also, Bonefish Grill will donate $1 to Ocean Trust for each martini ordered with the same name.
We checked in at the host station and waited a few short minutes before being seated at our table where we had a fabulous server! She took another round of drink orders, gave us a few minutes, and then took our appetizer order.
We went traditional on the appetizers. This Thai Coconut Shrimp was amazing. The sweet and spicy sauce paired with the crispy panko/coconut crust made for some succulent shrimp. They didn’t last long on the plate.
After our anniversary dinner, I wanted to try the Bonefish Grill’s Ahi Tuna Sashimi. It was mouth wateringly delicious! The tuna was perfectly cooked and the dressing drizzled over the top meant this one didn’t last long on the plate.

It sounds delicious, if you like salmon. Which I don’t, so we didn’t order it. But it does sounds tasty!

- Hickory Smoked Salmon Appetizer – in-house smoked, served chilled with pickled onions, brioche toast, red remoulade + lemon caper Dijon for dipping
- Vintner’s Burger – wood-grilled half pound American Kobe beef with caramelized onions, Danish Blue cheese + red wine jam, served with fresh greens or house made chips
- Atlantic Salmon + Bacon Jam Butter – wood-grilled + served with choice of fresh side item
- Swordfish + Pumpkin Ravioli – topped with feta, crispy sage + shallot brown butter
- Malbec Marinated Steak + Shrimp – 6 oz center cut sirloin topped with wood-grilled shrimp, served with Dona Paula Los Cardos Malbec sauce + choice of fresh side item
- Pan Roasted Snapper + Shrimp – topped with grape tomatoes, cilantro, scallions, white wine scampi sauce, served with herbed couscous + French green beans

Since we were very new to Bonefish Grill and all its many menu choices and side dish options, our server did very well to listen to our tastes and recommend side dishes and salad options for us to try. Since my dad and step-mother usually eat a no carb diet, she made some excellent recommendations in lieu of the carbs that came with their meals.
Photo courtesy of Bonefish GrillOf course, I had to order the swordfish. It truly is my favorite fish of all time. And it was amazing. It was cooked perfectly and deliciously juicy. The creamy feta and crisped sage were perfect with the pumpkin ravioli. No, this isn’t like pumpkin pie. However, it does have a slightly sweet flavor, but it is not enhanced with sugars, that I could taste. And the pasta? It tasted fresh. Like made that day fresh. Taking a bite out all of these elements at one time was a symphony in my mouth! I savored every single bite.

I can still taste the fish and ravioli and we were there over a week ago. The flavors were just that memorable!

Dad had the Chilean Sea Bass from their regular menu. He chose the lemon butter sauce to go with the fish. He also had the steamed broccoli and opted for the premium side dish of asparagus. I think he licked the plate. The fish was moist and perfectly flaky. The butter sauce had the perfect lemon flavor.

My step-mother ordered the other dish I considered. She had the Malbec marinated steak and shrimp. Except, she opted for the pumpkin ravioli. She splurged on carbs that night. The picture on the right is from Bonefish Grill and the one on the right is from my phone. It was dark in there. But you can see, they do look very similar!
Photos courtesy of Bonefish GrillNow, my step-mother doesn’t eat a lot. And she really doesn’t eat a lot of red meat or protein for that matter. But honestly, she pounded this steak!! There wasn’t much left for Dad to finish by the time she was done eating. Which is like, unheard of from her! That is how amazing this steak tastes. She loves malbec wine so it was the most logical option for her.
Finally, my husband ordered salmon. Since I don’t like it, we don’t have it at home. He tried the Atlantic Salmon with Bacon Jam Butter. As you can see, it is heafty portion of fish. I think he opted for the larger portion since he doesn’t get samon that often. I know he licked the plate. His fish was just as perfectly cooked as the rest of our meals. The potatoes were deliciously creamy. He also had the asparagus. I know he could have had a double helping he said it was that flavorful.
And, of course, dessert!

- Pumpkin Crème Brûlée – decadent with hints of cinnamon + nutmeg with whip cream
- Sangria Flatbread – brioche flatbread topped with berry sangria preserve, marscapone cheese, candied pecans and drizzled with a creamy white wine custards sauce.
Now this. This tastes like pumpkin pie. If pumpkin pie was deliciously creamy, custardy, and coated with caramelized sugar topping. Then yes yes it does taste like pumpkin pie. Like the most amazing and decadent pumpkin pie to have ever passed your lips.
We had the most amazing time at Bonefish Grill. The food was amazing. The service was fantastic. Drinks were delicious. We laughed and talked and had the best time with my father and step-mother that night. The words “we need to go this again soon here” were uttered many times that night and the following day.So, don’t miss out on these scrumptious seasonal menu items at Bonfish Grill and head on over to your local location as soon as possible. It helps to make a reservation, because they get booked quickly and the line was getting longer and longer as we ate.
I received a gift card to dine at Bonefish Grill but all opinions are 100% my own.
