Day 3 – Black Fettuccine?
I have no idea what happened. I KNOW I scheduled it for the AM. *sigh* Great. Another morning. Another day. I hope hope hope that today isn't negative like yesterday was. I CAN.NOT deal with another day like yesterday. I will literally curl up in the fetal position and just cry. Consequently, I wasn't saying a whole heck of a lot today. When you wake up to this in your room: and How can it really be a bad day? Right? … [Read more...]
Day 2…Negativity Abundance.
I'd really like to hear someone say what we do that's good. I'm so so SO tired of hearing of all the things that are wrong. For once, PLEASE can I hear something good? And after you fire at me all these things that are wrong and I fire back and all you say is, "I don't know." Really? That's all you got? You have ALL these answers to the world's problems but mine. I don't know? Then maybe, just participate, figure out the system, then try to correct it before you just start pointing … [Read more...]
Bogota Day 1…or why you don’t get me started on politics.
In case you were wondering, no I didn't get the same symptoms as last time. Headache, yes. Nausea, no. Feel like death? NO! Thank baby jebus!! I can't imagine feeling like that EVER AGAIN! The rooms are lux and gorgeous. But I miss Steve. They kind of are wasted on just me. The big bed? Still only sleep on my side. Nice fluffy comforter? Hate it. The roof is like clay that's covered in moss and falling apart. Anyway, it's a mess. So that was … [Read more...]

Today I'm on my own for lunch and dinner. L flew to Miami and A and D don't fly in until Sunday. True to my hermit self, I work through lunch and just get a sammy from the shop in the cafeteria. I ordered roast beef on pan winzer. Not a clue what pan winzer is...I think it was like a wheat bread? I honestly couldn't really taste much of it. The mustard was too spicy. LOL. Now, I'm not sure you can see in this picture, but this was not deli roast beef … [Read more...]
Gastronomique Tour de Colombia v2.1
At some point, I will get to photograph the mountains. Hopefully this weekend I can see them. It's rained every day this week. *sigh* Speaking of which... We had a meeting at 1. Neither of us had lunch by the time the meeting rolled around and this woman just wanted to explain everything in detail...from a large binder...full of MANY papers. *bangs head on desk* So, we were STAHVING when we left. We headed to Crepes and Waffles. L was … [Read more...]
Gastronomique Tour de Colombia v2.0
I miss my kitchen. I don't understand how people can live like this!! I long for the feel of a knife in my hand, the smells of something baking in the oven. *sigh* But most of all I miss S and our furbaby! *pout* Being as I know what I eat for dinner is probably not something lowfat and low cal, I have been eating breakfasts like this: Yes, I believe that is Fiber One olde skool. But I am LOVING the variety of fresh fruits for breakfast. I would eat … [Read more...]
