Eat Smart Precision Pro Digital Food Thermometer

Sharing is caring!

*confession*

I suck at cooking meat. Really. No matter how many times I try the touch and feel test for a steak, I fail, MISERABLY. I can’t tell by touch, look, or smell as to when meat is cooked properly. I just don’t have those skills. So, when EatSmart offered up their Precision Pro Digital Thermometer, I JUMPED at the chance!

We had a cheap one. It was like $10 at WalMart because the good one broke. Meh. It took forever to get a reading and it was truly difficult to see the temperature once it was finished reading the meat. I hated it, but didn’t really want to drop a small fortune on a good one.

Honestly, does that look like hard to read? Nope! And you can even turn the background blue, which would make it easier to read; offering more contrast. I haven’t done that yet.

I haven’t actually played with the bells and whistles on this EatSmart thermometer. There’s a set, hold and max button. It looks expensive, but it’s not. It’s currently $19.95 on Amazon. Just sayin.

And did I mention the probe size? It’s SMALLER! It’s an amazing concept I know. The smaller the probe, the smaller the puncture hole, the less juices are lost in items like roasts, breasts, steaks, etc. I LOVE that. LOVE.

We’ve used it many times already. It is our new “go to” thermometer for a quick and easy read.

EatSmart has many other products to help make your life in the kitchen (and bathroom) easier. I suggest you check out their website, and while you’re at it, follow on
Pinterest, Google +, Twitter, andFacebook to see what new products they have to offer up to make your life easier.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
