#FoodieFridays #25 – AKHA is being cheesy this week!
Welcome to the #FoodieFridays link up!! โWhatโs #FoodieFriday?โ you ask?? I canโt believe you donโt know. #FoodieFridays is a link up that helps to promote your blog in hopes that you will return the favor and promote our link party. And, when it’s all said and done, we pin every link!! Win/win!
Thatโs right!! It’s a party where every link gets pinned. EVERY LINK! EVERY WEEK!! Our linky was even heralded as one of the best link parties to grow your blog by the SITS girls. And, it must be working because we hit a record 365 link ups last week! I can’t believe it!! Can we hit 375 this week? That would be 375 deliciously tasty recipes that YOU, dear readers, have created! So, make sure to link up your fave recipes every Thursday starting at 9 PM EST and stop by the following week to see if one our hosts featured your recipe.
We are adding Jenny from Honey and Birch! I can’t wait to have her join our group. Her blog ROCKS!! She has some amazing recipes and ideas. And she’s ADORBS!! You really should check our her blog.
Christine is working on semester projects and has taken a leave of absense this week. She should be back next week with a vengeance!! So, stay tuned….
Also….stay tuned on the NEW HOUSE for AKHA! Trust me! It will definitely be worth the wait. The words “gourmet kitchen” were uttered.

Clockwise:
- I am a total sucker for pimento cheese. Many an afternoon was spent with my father and grandmother fishing. Lunch was, you guessed it, PIMENTO CHEESE! It’s totally tasty and I haven’t had any in YEARS! I’m definitely making These Pimento Cheese Bites from The Seasoned Mom.
- Scones have usually been called “breakfast cookies” in our house, but these savory Bacon, Cheese, and Chive Scones from My Turn for Us have broken that thought. These savory scones look fabulous!
- I have YET to make a pull apart bread. They look oh so amazing and I could only assume that I would be able to make a WHOLE MEAL from this Cheesy Garlic Pull Apart Bread from Hacked by Katy looks FABULOUS!
- These Butternut Squash and Goat’s Cheese Pie from Domestic Gothess look oh so fluffy and tasty. I imagine their layers to be delicious and buttery.
- I am a total sucker for anything with goat cheese and pistachios. This Goat Cheese with Pistachios and Cranberries from Joy Love Food looks perfect for holiday entertaining! Green, red and white and the colors. YUM!
- And again with the goat cheese. I love the use of puff pastry in this Pear, Proscuitto, Goat Cheese and Honey Tarts from Giramuk’s Kitchen looks perfect for your holiday entertaining.
And now…on to the party!
