#FoodieFriDIY – Carryons, Butter Pecans, and Get your Zuke On!

#FoodieFriDIY – Carryons, Butter Pecans, and Get your Zuke On!

#FoodieFriDIY -Featuring Fun Treats and Cool Eats

So, we have a small container garden.  We have two tomatoes and three peppers along with some herbs.  Since we don’t have a “yard” per seo, we try to grow a few things in containers.  Do you have a garden?
Since we had a killer wet June and July, our plants looked like they were going to keel over, but now that the summer heat is here, the plants are in full swing.  I checked our jalapeno plant today and I think we’re going to have 20 of those suckers soon.  What in the world am I going to do with all those japes?  That’s what we call them; japes.  Sounds like yappies when you say it.
I know some are in the same boat with zukes, cukes, and maybe some maters.  I hope you’re finding lts of tasty ways to eat and preserve these babies.  Wouldn’t want you to miss out on summer bounty in the winter.
And speaking of bounty, I can’t wait to see what y’all have cooked and crafted up to share with us this week!
