#FoodieFriDIY – Getting Ready for Fall with Pumpkin Cake, Afghans, and Sangria?

We had a whirlwind weekend last weekend!  Holy!  We had the hubs dad, step-mom, and aunt in for the day.  Then we road tripped it to PA to meet a whole half of family I didn’t know about on his side.  Heck, there’s some he didn’t even know.

I.HAD.A.BLAST!  They were super nice and welcoming.  At least the older generation was.  LOL  The kids, well, they’re kids.  You can’t expect much.

What I didn’t realize was how popular cornhole really was!  Two sets set up and a line to play it.  I don’t get it but they had fun.  I enjoyed talking to this extended family.

And I’m building quite an extended family from the Facebook group!   I hope to meet a few next month at a food and wine thing here in NoVA.  And hopefully more next year at #FWCon.

And now, to the party!  I can’t wait to see what y’all have cooked and crafted up to share with us this week!
