InstaNatural Deep Cleansing Facial Oil Review

Sharing is caring!

I have been using oil based cleansers for almost two years now. It goes without saying that I jumped at the chance to try this InstaNatural Deep Cleansing Facial Oil.  Not to mention it was convenient as I was almost out of the current batch I was using.  It was another brand to remain nameless.

I have made my own cleanser and I have used two different store bought brands.  My current brand just wasn’t cutting it for me.  It was a readily available brand at my local department store.  Not a fancy brand behind the counter kind of thing.  It was on the shelf.

Meh.  I’ll try anything once…with the exception of animal organs.  Some of those…ain’t happening.

BUT this post is about this cleansing oil.  It contains many of the cleansing and purifying oils I’ve been reading about on this journey to better skin.

  • Jojoba Oil – an emollient that smooths skin and unclogs follicles
  • Olive Oil – contains anti-oxidants to prevent aging
  • Tamanu Oil – contains antimicrobial and antiviral agents
  • Lavender Oil – disinfects the skin and provide a calming aroma
  • Pink Grapefruit Oil – detoxifies, relieves headaches, and provide soothing aroma
  • Hemp Oil – reduces the size of pores, anti-inflammatory, and reduced redness
  • Sea Buckthorn Oil – reduces swelling and redness from acne, and aids to prevent
  • Geranium Essential Oil – contains calming and healing properties

Of course, it would cost me a small fortune to purchase all of these separately.  When I started it was a very light oil like sunflower with the typical castor oil and some eucalyptus oil, because I love that scent.  They haven’t made cumin scented essential oil or else I’d use that.  LOL

Usually, I use my hands to apply the oil to my face during cleansing, but the directions say to use a cotton ball.  I have cotton pads, so I used one of those.

No, there are no before and after pictures in this process.  Sorry to disappoint.

Now, when I started this oil cleansing process, I read MANY blogs, instructions, websites, etc to find out the many ways and to figure out the best one for me.

For me, that begins with hot facecloth; as hot as your hands can stand it, hot.  I wring the cloth out and then place it over my face for a few minutes.  This opens my pores up and is kind of like a spa treatment at home.

Then I put some of the oil on the cotton pad, massaged it into my face, making sure to avoid the eye area.  Initially, I wasn’t doing this had some interesting things happening around my eyes.   There were a few minor breakouts, which for me, was new.  So, I pay particular attention to avoid the eye area.  Please take this into consideration. All the while, I leave the cloth in the sink with the hot water.  Once I’ve sufficiently massaged my face and neck with the oil, I wring the cloth out and place it over my face again for a minute or two.  This allows the cleansing oil to penetrate into your pores and clean even deeper. This also allows all those calming, relaxing, mood enhancing properties in the aromatic oils to really work and surround you with their soothing properties.  Yup, smells like a spa in your bathroom!

Of all the oils that I’ve used, none have really varied in how the cleanse my skin.  The InstaNatural Deep Cleansing Facial Oil has calmed my skin.  It doesn’t get as red after cleansing or later in the day like the others.

I will say, that this smells AMAZING!  My skin does feel clean and, barring any stress issues, I have fewer adult acne breakouts.

If you’re looking to try cleansing facial oil, I highly recommend the InstaNatural Deep Cleansing Facial Oil. It feels light and smooth, smells amazing, and really does have healing and cleansing properties to keep my skin smooth, even toned, and acne free!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
