#MatchaOrganics Matcha Green Tea Powder #review
I’m by no means an expert in the field of matcha green tea powder. I’ve never had the opportunity to watch, participate, or drink ceremonial matcha tea. That being said, I do know what I like. And I like to add matcha green tea to tons of food stuffs.
I add it to smoothies, oatmeal, and I’ve even made some macaron from it. And who wouldn’t? Matcha green tea has so many health benefits. It enhances memory and focus. Lord knows I could use more focus. It stimulates your metabolism and aids in weight loss. Hello extra junk in my trunk! Where’d you come from? It has a high level of energy that doesn’t cause jitters, at least not for me. But then again I am a freak when it comes to caffeine. And, its baby powder consistency makes it perfect for baked goods and drinks.
Now, like the directions on the package says, you really don’t need all that much. A little truly does go a long way with this Matcha Organics green tea powder. I think, at most, I put about 2 teaspoons in my smoothie that has banana, spinach, some PB powder, and a little truvia in it. Perfect pick me up breakfast! If I added it to oatmeal, I stuck with 1 teaspoon. That was plenty for a kick in the pants in the mornings to get my day started. Considering this pouch is 4 full ounces, you’ll be using it for a LONG time!! It’s definitely cost-effective!
Yes, I work in finance. How did you know? *snort*
Okay, it’s a bit clumpy when I poured it out the package, but not to worry! You can easily stir it into water, smoothies, oatmeal; whatever you want! And, no, it will not be lumpy. The matcha powder is SUPER fine and almost like cornstarch consistency? Make sense? It’s just really really FINE powder that’s super easy to use and goes a long way.
This is breakfast from a few days ago. This one didn’t have spinach and chocolate sauce on it. It’s just the oatmeal, milk, banana, matcha, caramel sauce, and some cinnamon. Oh yeah. It was mighty tasty! And I had so much energy after drinking it that I ploughed through a HUGE task that usually takes about a week to complete. I was so focused and on pointe that it was insane!
This smoothie is this morning’s breakfast. It’s a banana, spinach, chocolate sauce, matcha, PB powder and oatmeal. That’s why it’s not as green; it has chocolate sauce on it. But, I LOVE peanut butter powder, chocolate sauce, and banana in my smoothie. It’s like I’m drinking some shake at a hamburger joint, but it’s actually a relatively healthy breakfast.
This was actually oatmeal that I added some PB powder, chocolate sauce, and matcha powder to. It was a DELICIOUS steel-cut oatmeal breakfast. Yes, for the most part, I incorporate the #MatchaOrganics powder in my breakfasts. I usually add it to some baked goods, too, but just not lately. It’s really good to put into some breakfast bars, muffins, or even toss it in cupcakes or cakes. It’s a good way to add some energy and antioxidants to anything you eat.
While I did received a sample at a LARGE discount price, all opinions, thoughts, and banter are truly my own. In earnest, if I didn’t like, I’d definitely let you know! So, I hope you head on over the Amazon to get your own 4 ounces bag of this delicious #MatchaOrganics green tea powder.
