Open-Faced Burgers with Onion-Mushroom Topping

I made these tonight. I skipped the vinegar. It just didn’t sound right. I swapped it for some worcestershire and some marsala. Interesting substitute but it seemed to work. I also substituted buns for the english muffin. Something about a burger on an english muffin that just doesn’t seem right to me…
What can I say? It’s a burger with mushrooms and onions on top and paprika inside. Yes, it was good. I probably will make them again because it was pretty easy to make. I served them with microwave fries. Yes, they’re pretty good and yes they’re healthier than the oven baked store bought or the (duh) fried ones.
