Since it’s slow cooked, I wouldn’t want it like a sliced steak for stir-fry but you could use some chuck blade steaks or even an eye of round steak.

Oh I am sorry about your memory by the way. Accept it and be kind to yourself—I am smiling this as I am typing. You are right about chuck steak, but it's amazingly tasty when time is taken to cook it ever so tenderly. Okay I am being silly. Probably caused by the fact I am truly quite hungry. When I saw the picture with the egg noodles—-I went Oh Yeah, I forgot about those. Smiling again here. It's been a while since I fixed them. For some reason they dropped off my grocery list.
