Spaghetti and Meatballs

Cooking Light, OCTOBER 2003
So, I cheated and bought jar sauce. I think we used Classico Sweet Basil or something like that. I didn’t bake the meatballs, but sautéed them in a pan, but I did put them in the sauce to continue cooking while the water for the spaghetti boiled. *snort* I’m such a recipe massochist!!
The meatballs were DELICIOUS, though. They were probably the best meatballs I’ve ever made aside from my chicken ones, which I should post some time. I also shredded half a SMALL onion and one clove of garlic into the mix. I have a small microplane grater that I use for my spices, and used it for the onion and garlic. That way the flavor of those ingredients goes throughout the ENTIRE group of meatballs and not chunks here and there.
LOTS of stuff to clean up after this meal, though. The dish fairy was NOT happy!
Measuring cups and spoons
Knife
Cutting board
Grater for cheese
Grater for onions and garlic
Sauté pan
Small sauce pot for the sauce…DUH!
Large pot for spaghetti
Small scoop for meatballs (I have one that I use for cookies and meatballs. It’s like a small ice cream scoop. Yes, I’m a TOTAL kitchen HOOR!)
