I've come to the conclusion that it's the sausage that makes it taste funny. It also gets way too cooked and sometimes hardens. Halibut with White Beans in Tomato-Rosemary Broth Cooking Light, OCTOBER 2007 O M G this was FANTASTIC! I pan seared the fish and then put them in the toaster oven to keep warm and finish cooking knowing that the sauce was going to take at least 20 minutes to reduce. The only thing I would do, is possibly mash some of the beans to thicken the sauce, OR put them in at the end AFTER it has reduced. I think they got overcooked when the sauce was reducing.
