Lady and the Tramp Spaghetti and Meatballs

March 23, 2009

Lady and the Tramp Spaghetti and Meatballs recipe Cooking Light, March 1998 These were EASY and TASTY! We added WAY more onion than it called for, so they were oniony. It didn't take long to throw this meal together. It wasn't easy getting 25 meatballs out of the mixture, though. I should have used the small scoop. I made it about 20 meatballs. We made it with Ragu Chunky Mushrooms sauce. YUM! Measuring cups and spoons Knife Cutting board Large nonstick skillet Large pot for … [Read more...]

Spaghetti and Meatballs

October 27, 2008

Spaghetti and Meatballs Cooking Light, SEPTEMBER 2006 I couldn't find the turkey Italian sausage so I used regular. I didn't follow the recipe for the sauce, but use the Alton Brown sauce that's posted on here. I wish I hasn't because the tomatoes were really tart and could have used a little bit of sugar to make them taste better. Oh well! The meatballs were really good, but there's no way I could make 32 out of the pot. They'd have to be like an inch in diameter to make 32. The best I … [Read more...]

All-Star Pork Meatballs

January 29, 2008

All-Star Pork Meatballs This is a SparkPeople.com Recipe These were really good! They make 6 HUGE meatballs. I think the next time I make them, I will probably make 12 regular sized ones so I think I'm eating more than I am. They were quite tasty and the glaze on top was yummy!! Definitely on the make again list!! We served these with some basmati rice and a tossed salad. Measuring cups and spoons Mixing bowl Muffin tin … [Read more...]

Spaghetti and Meatballs

November 13, 2007

Spaghetti and Meatballs Cooking Light, OCTOBER 2003 So, I cheated and bought jar sauce. I think we used Classico Sweet Basil or something like that. I didn't bake the meatballs, but sauteed them in a pan, but I did put them in the sauce to continue cooking while the water for the spaghetti boiled. *snort* I'm such a recipe massochist!! The meatballs were DELICIOUS, though. They were probably the best meatballs I've ever made aside from my chicken ones, which I should post some time. I also … [Read more...]

Swedish Meatballs

September 30, 2007

Swedish Meatballs recipe Cooking Light, JULY 2006 YUM! These were delicious. I made them with beef instead of chicken because that's what we had on hand, but they were still FABULOUS! There wasn't enough sauce to suit my BF, which I agree. For all the meatballs we made, there wasn't enough sauce. The flavor was delicious. The nutmeg really changes the flavor of the meatballs. The sour cream sauce was VERY tangy. I will probably try and make more of the sauce the next time I make … [Read more...]
