Meh, it’s bean soup. We put all the ingredients in the crock pot and made it that way. I think I’ve gotten to the point where I’m a purist with some foods and don’t want a lot of spices. I just wanted to taste the beans the ham. CTM liked it and said it was really good. I think it had too much thyme in it. I may try again (the next time we have a ham bone) and use less thyme or none at all. I served it with the quick cornbread.
