S and I were tooling around antique stores and flea markets in the Fredericksburg, VA area. It got to be around the time for lunch and we happened up on this place. We didn’t go looking for it, we did just stumble on it walking down main street…
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of P.F. Changs for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. Yes, I know. But seriously, I can’t say enough good things about P.F. Chang’s. It’s our “go to” place for Holidays and special occasions. And for dinners, and lunches. It’s just…
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of P.F. Changs for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. It’s the Holidays. Let’s face it. Things can get a WEE bit hectic at the malls. Shoppers are not the most cheerful when shopping for their ENTIRE family….
A very VERY VERY foggy day in Sarajevo today. Is it really only Thursday? Come on weekend! Hurry up! I need a rest. I need some down time. I need a break from being ON 24/7. Those with work travel can understand that. The “on” statement. About an…
Guess what day it is? Guess what day it is? It’s HUMP DAY! In Bosnia for this post at least. LOL I couldn’t resist. I woke up thinking, “This two weeks are going to take FOREVER!” It’s only Wednesday. *sigh* I splurge at breakfast this morning and get…
More breakfast exploration. I tried the other cereal that wasn’t cocoa puffs. Man. It was crunchy. Really crunchy. I’m eating it thinking, “Maybe this is supposed to be like a hot cereal? And I should have used the warm milk instead of regular, cold milk?” I crunch through…
I had no expectations for breakfast. I just didn’t. I never do. As long as there’s cereal I’m happy. And there was. There were a few other interesting items, too. There are at least 4 types of cheese: feta, smoked Gouda, mozzarella, and a spicy smoked something. I’m…
Just Us On a Mountain Finale – the story of our wedding continues with wineries, breweries, and finally the cake.
Of course I can’t sleep. I mean, how in the world does any bride sleep the night before their wedding? Seriously? So I am up around 6 I think? I make coffee, we shower and head to breakfast. Pancakes for me and eggs and biscuits for him. …
Just Us on a Mountain Part 1 – Wedding travel, dinner, and how we got to be on the mountain.
Bogota 3.4 and AGAVE AZUL! YAY!
Central Cevicheria
Homeward bound but in an oh crap my alarm didn’t go off kind of way. Arepas and Juan Valdez, weird airplane breakfast, and delicious toasted sandwich for lunch. I’m ready to go home!
Day 5 – Yay for the last day. I loves me some arepas! And traditional Colombian food comes with yummy arepas, Thundra shopping, and a quick dinner at Agadon.
Day 4 in Bogota. Man these are good ritas at Agave Azul with delicious Mexican chef’s table food.
Day 3 in Bogota brings a better day, Agave Azul, and some black fettuccine. This is my first time tasting squid ink pasta.
Day 2 and Negativity Abundance. My coworker lists all the problems, but doesn’t offer any solutions or suggestions to make things better.
Bogota Day 1 of me as a team lead for this work trip. The room is too comfy, the food is always delicious, and the company is too opinionated and needs to learn processes before saying they’re broken.
My Gastronomique Tour de Colombia in Bogota is filled with photos of cacti and a sandwich, but not the spaghetti dinner from the hotel restaurant.
Today I’m on my own for lunch and dinner. L flew to Miami and A and D don’t fly in until Sunday. True to my hermit self, I work through lunch and just get a sammy from the shop in the cafeteria. I ordered roast beef on pan…
At some point, I will get to photograph the mountains. Hopefully this weekend I can see them. It’s rained every day this week. *sigh* Speaking of which… We had a meeting at 1. Neither of us had lunch by the time the meeting rolled around and this woman…
I miss my kitchen. I don’t understand how people can live like this!! I long for the feel of a knife in my hand, the smells of something baking in the oven. *sigh* But most of all I miss S and our furbaby! *pout* Being as I know…
Early January, work tells me that I will need say Hola de Colombia to help with a FY2013 budget either the end of January or the beginning of February. Me, “Can it be more towards February? I don’t want to be in Colombia for my birthday.” So, here…
